How do I get started?

Some categories will require a few hours volunteering under other categories before being allowed to participate in another.

1. Attend an Open House

Anyone interested in volunteering is asked to attend an Open House. It is not required. The purpose of our Open House is to let people know about our organization and what it is like to be a volunteer. We hold Open House at the shelter the second and last Saturday of each month at 3 pm. It helps people determine if they want to volunteer.

2. Register to be a volunteer here

Click here to start creating your profile. Once there, click on Programs. Then go to the Volunteer icon. and click on that. Click "Become a Member." Once your application is accepted, proceed to the other steps.
