Pet of the Week
Each week this page will be used to spotlight very special animals at the shelter. To adopt or inquire about these animals or any of the other wonderful animals at the shelter, please contact the Metro Animal Shelter, located at 3140 35th Street. Their phone number is (205) 752-9101. The shelter is open 10:00 a.m. until 5:30 p.m. weekdays and 8:00 am - 11:30 am on Saturday.

Eeyore
Eeyore is a lovable Basset mix looking for a forever home. He is good with children and dogs, but has not been around cats. He walks well on a leash and is a mild exerciser. Eeyore has a low play drive, but enjoys any affection. He is neutered and up to date on his vaccines. Microchipping is also included in the adoption.
