Pet of the Week
Each week this page will be used to spotlight very special animals at the shelter. To adopt or inquire about these animals or any of the other wonderful animals at the shelter, please contact the Metro Animal Shelter, located at 3140 35th Street. Their phone number is (205) 752-9101. The shelter is open 10:00 a.m. until 5:30 p.m. weekdays and 8:00 am - 11:30 am on Saturday.

Stella
Stella is a spunky 2-3 year old Hound mix, who loves to be outside playing. She is current on all of her shots and is spayed. She is also Heartworm negative. She is great with kids and other dogs and woulde make a great family pet. She came in as a stray, and has been here since April 21, 2010. She is in desperate need of a good and loving home!
